Georgian Manor Resort Review

 Sept 13-14,

We were staying with friends who had made an exchange with one of their timeshares.
They exchanged for the Presidential Suite, Room 270, which was a corner 3-bedroom unit on the 4th floor. There was a fully modern kitchen with center island, modern appliances, so many couches and chairs to sit on in the living room/dining room area.
Fireplace in the living area opening in two different directions.
Dining table could seat 6 comfortably.
The master bedroom had its own fireplace, a gorgeous Jacuzzi tub in the room, separate huge shower stall with two opposing shower heads, his/hers sink areas.
Draperies were luxurious, not the standard sheers/blinds in normal hotel rooms.
Only thing odd was that the patio table was cheap plastic - it certainly did not match the patio chairs, nor the style or elegance of the rest of the unit.
We rented bikes and bike helmets for a couple of hours from the on-site bike rentals, reasonably priced, and we were a short bike ride from the Georgian Trail, which was a lot of fun.
Had the breakfast buffet in the restaurant, it was quite good, loved the made-to-order omelettes by the chef on site. Bravo!
Oh yes, did I mention the theater room off the kitchen. Sweet. Men will love this "man cave".

  1. I’ve travelled to many places around the world including the UK, Ireland, Europe, USA and Asia … yet I still sing the praises of my home town with its many activities and events, great food and wine, and natural beauty
